OH SO GRAPHIC

GRAFFITI_1

It’s Monday. This post was shot on Saturday. And now that we’ve clarified those crucial, life-threatening details, we’ll attempt to discuss two topics here: ‘what we wore’ and the concept of ‘hangry.’ Also, side note, is it just us or do you feel like this too?

On the subject of ‘what we wore,’ well… details are below! You know the drill. But, really, we wore nothing fancy. We could take the time and explain our thought process when getting dressed. It’s a lot of “what about this?” and “oh my gourd, no… no, definitely not that.” Chris has this Muppet-like Uniqlo jacket that he keeps trying to pull out… For Brock, it’s his fringe jacket. Like… fringe that extends way past his little butt.

But, we’re not going to avoid the subject… Well, let’s avoid it for just a few seconds… Okay, a few more… And, okay, yeah, that’s enough time. We’re dressed like a painter and a tourist, but, you know, in a modern sense of the two words. Right? Right. Like, Brock’s all, “No, are you crazy? I definitely don’t paint in my vintage Nike’s.” And Chris is all like, “Hello, twenty miles of walking around the city. My feet might be comfy, but I look super cool in my jacquard knit from Cos.” For us, it was a blend of casual comfort and our own sense of style. Oh no… oh no… that sounded like a Marshall’s or TJ Maxx ad. No, we’re not asking if it did; it definitely did.

On the subject of ‘what we wore’ again. We paired ‘structure’ with ‘casual.’ You ask, “why?” We answer, “why not?” We took inspiration from the common everyday and just adapted it to fit our own style. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blap? Yeah, exactly. Blah, blah, blap.

On the subject of ‘hangry,’ you know, hungry-angry — we were very hangry when we shot this post. That is all. Oh, and if you’re looking for a great brunch spot in Portrero Hill, hit up Market & Rye. We nearly trampled each other on the way over, we were so hangry. Not to mention, they have an item on the menu called a BLD sandwich (breakfast, lunch, and dinner… BLD!) Very efficient, all meals in one. We wanted to order five.

Now one more time, back to ‘what we wore,’ okay, yeah, we see you. You want to dress like a painter now, huh? No? Really? No? Okay, can you just pretend you want to? Please?

Happy Monday, y’all!

Thank you, we do too! 🙂 Down at the corner of 16th St. and Carolina St. The building is graffiti’d on just two of its walls. It’s also super close to Market & Rye 😉
